West Ham United pull plug on Joey Barton move?

West Ham United have reportedly withdrawn from talks to sign Joey Barton due to a backlash from their supporters.

The 32-year-old is believed to have undergone a medical at Upton Park ahead of a proposed transfer.

However, the decision by the club to try to sign Barton has infuriated fans, and according to The Mirror, they have pulled out of a deal.

Barton had spent four years at Queens Park Rangers before he was released by the Hoops earlier this summer.
