Robin van Persie 'offered to Crystal Palace, West Ham United'

Fenerbahce put Robin van Persie up for sale, with West Ham United and Crystal Palace reportedly among those who are interested in the £4m-rated striker.

Premier League rivals West Ham United and Crystal Palace will reportedly battle it out to land Robin van Persie from Fenerbahce.

The 32-year-old, who enjoyed prolific spells in English football with both Arsenal and Manchester United, has been put up for sale by the Turkish outfit after just one year at the club.

According to The Sun, Van Persie has been offered to West Ham and Palace, who are both said to be in the market for a new striker after missing out on Chelsea-bound Marseille ace Michy Batshuayi.

It is suggested in the report that the Netherlands international is keen on a return to the Premier League, with a £4m bid - the same amount Fenerbahce paid to land him from Manchester United 12 months ago - likely to be enough.

Van Persie scored 16 goals in 40 appearances for the Yellow Canaries last season.
