Player Ratings: West Ham United 1-2 Everton

Sports Mole gives every player that featured in Everton's 2-1 win over West Ham United a rating out of 10 for their performance.

Romelu Lukaku scored in the final minute of added time to give Everton a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Upton Park this afternoon.

Stewart Downing gave the Hammers the lead, but Leon Osman equalised for the Toffees minutes later before Lukaku nabbed the winner with just seconds left on the clock.

Below, Sports Mole gives every player involved a mark out of 10 for their performances.

Goal

Adrian: When required, the keeper was able to complete a number of crucial saves for the Hammers, but there was not much that he could do to stop Lukaku's winner. (6/10)

Defence

Aaron Creswell: Did well charging up the left flank and was able to keep composure in both attacking and defensive areas. (7/10)

James Collins: Spent just 15 minutes on the field before getting substituted due to an apparent hamstring injury. (4/10)

Winston Reid: Looked in control when Everton were on the attack, particularly in the second half when the visitors committed waves of pressure late on. (7/10)

Carl Jenkinson: Linked up well with Downing going forward and was able to stay strong in defence when required. (7/10)

Midfield

Alex Song: Returned to the starting lineup for today's match and, for the most part, was able to keep Everton quiet in the middle of the park. He came close to scoring himself with a header in the second half. (7/10)

Mark Noble: The captain could have had a goal in the first half, but he just dragged a shot just wide. The downside of his day is that he lost possession in dangerous areas on occasion. (5/10)

Cheikhou Kouyate: Looked solid carrying out defensive duties and was rarely troubled when in possession. (6/10)

Stewart Downing: Was impressive down the wing and also made an impact when he drifted inside. He showed intelligence on the ball and was unlucky to be on the losing side after his second-half goal. (8/10)

Attack

Enner Valencia: A nuisance for Everton's defence at times, but when he did get a chance at goal, his final piece of quality was lacking. (6/10)

Carlton Cole: The game may have been the striker's final home match for West Ham as his contract runs out in the summer. He used his strength and height well, but was eventually substituted. (5/10)

Substitutes

Reece Burke: Forced on early after Collins suffered an injury and, considering his inexperience, the youngster showed some promise. However he could have done better to prevent Lukaku's goal. (5/10)

Nene: Showed some bright spark in attack when he came on in the second half, but was unable to make a significant impact on the game. (5/10)

EVERTON

Goal

Tim Howard: The American has not had the most consistent of seasons, but he looked relatively comfortable when called into action, aside from a couple of nervy moments. (7/10)

Defence

Seamus Coleman: Could have been punished after handling the ball in his own penalty area, but throughout the game he generally came out on top when battling against his opponents. (7/10)

Phil Jagielka: Reliable as always as he commanded Everton's defensive line throughout the entire game at Upton Park. (8/10)

John Stones: Impressed when bringing the ball out from the back and seems to gain more and more confidence every time that he plays. (7/10)

Brendan Galloway: An assured Everton and Premier League debut for the 19-year-old as he came up against Downing numerous times. The defender was filling in for the injured Leighton Baines. (6/10)

Midfield

Gareth Barry: Tried to break up play in the middle of the park and defended well when West Ham were on the attack. (7/10)

James McCarthy: A confident performance from the midfielder, who worked well alongside Barry in the middle of the park. (7/10)

Aaron Lennon: Could potentially have been his final game for Everton as he is ineligible to play against parent club Tottenham Hostpur next weekend. His pace caused plenty of trouble in the early stages, but he was later substituted. (6/10)

Ross Barkley: Committed some charging runs in the first half and had plenty of the ball, but his final touch during goalscoring opportunities let him down. (5/10)

Leon Osman: Inspired an Everton comeback after finding the equaliser shortly after West Ham took the lead. His experience did him well and his passing was impressive. (7/10)

Attack:

Romelu Lukaku: Kept pushing for a goal when Everton conceded in the second half, and his determination and desire were eventually rewarded when he nodded home in the dying seconds of the match. (9/10)

Substitutes

Aiden McGeady: Delivered some impressive crosses into the area as Everton searched for the winner, setting up Lukaku's goal. (7/10)

Kevin Mirallas: Looked lively when he came on with 20 minutes left to play and linked up well with Lukaku. (6/10)
