West Ham United have played down injury fears surrounding captain Kevin Nolan.
The midfielder was forced to come off after only three minutes of Saturday's friendly win over Southend United.
Despite initial worries that it could have been a serious ankle problem, club officials later confirmed that it was a toe injury.
The Hammers will set off to Germany next week to continue their pre-season campaign.
