Joey O'Brien pleased with successful season

West Ham United defender Joey O'Brien has claimed that the club's first season back in the Premier League was a "massive success".

The Hammers earned themselves a 10th-placed finish in the table after gaining promotion from the Championship.

"It's been a great season," O'Brien told the club's official website. "We finished in the top 10 and for our first season back in the Premier League that was a massive success."

O'Brien featured in 34 of West Ham's Premier League fixtures during the campaign.
