Carlton Cole confident of beating Everton

Carlton Cole believes that West Ham are capable of beating Everton when they travel to Goodison Park this weekend.

West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has backed the team to beat Everton when they travel to Goodison Park in the Premier League this weekend.

The Hammers are currently in fourth place in the table thanks to an impressive start to the season, while Everton are languishing in 10th position.

Despite insisting that the Toffees always provide tough opposition, Cole is confident that West Ham can leave Merseyside with the spoils.

"Our next game is Everton away which is always a tough game. We've got the personnel and good strength in depth to make a difference. We're confident at the moment and I think we can go there and get a result," he told the club's official website.

Cole has scored two goals in eight appearances for West Ham so far this season.
