England international Andy Carroll has declared that the atmosphere at West Ham United is driving the team to achieve results on the pitch.
Carroll made his return from a hamstring injury in West Ham's 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on Monday night, a result that lifted Sam Allardyce's side to seventh in the Premier League.
The on-loan striker shared that he is enjoying the team spirit in East London.
He told the club's official website: "All the lads get on well and you can see the quality in training. We showed that quality at QPR on Monday in what was a tough game at a tough place to go.
"It's been great so far. All the lads are spot-on and there is always banter flying around and they are a great group of lads.
"Everyone is in it for each other and you can see they are behind each other in games. It's the same on the training ground. It's just great so I'm enjoying it."
West Ham continue their campaign with a second successive London derby against Arsenal on Saturday.
