Slaven Bilic: 'Stadium security has been increased'

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic says that his club have "done everything to increase the security" at the London Stadium following the recent crowd trouble.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that his club have "done everything to increase the security" at the London Stadium following the recent crowd trouble.

Outbreaks of violence have been common at the stadium this season, but the most serious incidents occurred during last week's League Cup clash with Chelsea.

Towards the end of the London derby, coins, bottles and seats appeared to be thrown between the rival supporters, which led to six arrests and three men being charged following the match.

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Stoke City, Bilic has insisted that West Ham have taken measures in a bid to prevent more trouble occurring inside the stadium.

"The club have done everything to increase the security at the stadium and have widened the segregation line. The atmosphere was brilliant in the last game against Chelsea and the players really felt that. It really helped us," Bilic told reporters.

West Ham have only lost one of their last four in the league, but that was a 2-0 defeat at Everton last weekend.
