West Bromwich Albion have reportedly moved closer to signing Racing Club midfielder Claudio Yacob.
The 24-year-old's contract with the Argentine club has expired, and he is therefore free to enter discussions with other clubs.
Yacob has previously been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, but according to The Mirror, the Baggies are firmly in the driving seat.
The defensive midfielder has three Argentine caps to his name.
