Report: West Brom target Ba, Phillips

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has reportedly identified Demba Ba and Matt Phillips as two of his key transfer targets for the summer window.

Pulis is likely to be keen to build his own squad after arriving at The Hawthorns midway through the season, and the signings of Ba and Phillips would change the look of the West Brom attack.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the Baggies boss is prepared to launch a move for Phillips, who performed impressively despite failing to keep Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.

The winger cost QPR £5m when they signed him from Blackpool two years ago, and they are likely to be targeting a profit should they agree to sell him this summer.

Besiktas's Ba has been linked with a number of sides across Europe in recent weeks after joining the Turkish club last summer, but the Senegalese striker could be persuaded to join his former boss Slaven Bilic at West Ham United.
