Tony Pulis: Bakary Sako revealing West Bromwich Albion interest is "disappointing"

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis admits that it was "disappointing" that Bakary Sako revealed talks between the winger and the Baggies.

Tony Pulis has admitted to finding it "disappointing" to read that Bakary Sako had confirmed that West Bromwich Albion were interested in signing him.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger, who is out of contract this summer, recently confirmed that Aston Villa and the Baggies had both contacted him.

The West Brom manager told the Birmingham Mail: "It just goes back to lots of things that I have said in the past. I like to do my business between myself and the player or the club and the players' representatives. That's the way business should be done.

"To advertise it in the paper was obviously a bit disappointing for me and disappointing for the football club. There are lots of players we have been discussing in lots of different positions. We will move on as we move on.

"There's going to be lots of offers [for Sako] and lots of people interested and [his agents] are going to try and do the best they possibly can to get the best deal they can possibly get."

Sako scored 15 goals in 43 appearances for Wolves this season.
