Morgan Amalfitano joins West Bromwich Albion on loan

French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano has completed a season-long loan switch from Marseille to West Bromwich Albion.

Under the terms of the deal, the Baggies have the option to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent basis at the end of the agreement.

"Olympique de Marseille announce the loan with a purchase option for a permanent transfer for Morgan Amalfitano to English club West Bromwich Albion," read a statement on the French side's official website.

Amalfitano, who joined Marseille in 2011, has been capped once by France.
