Team News: Nicolas Anelka, Shane Long form West Bromwich Albion attack against Cork City

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has named a strong side for tonight's pre-season friendly against Cork City, featuring strike duo Shane Long and Nicolas Anelka.

Long will captain the Baggies on his return to Turner's Cross, with Anelka playing alongside the Irishman in a two-man attack.

Chris Brunt, Graham Dorrans and Youssouf Mulumbu also start in midfield, while Goran Popov and Craig Dawson are given a chance to impress in defence.

Jonas Olsson and Gabriel Tamas are missing after being left out of the Baggies squad, with Clarke preferring to rest the duo ahead of the Premier League campaign.
