Foster: "It was a really big win"

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster believes that his side showed great "character" to earn a win over Swansea City in their fight to stay in the Premier League.

The Baggies came from behind to beat Garry Monk's team at the Liberty Stadium, as Stephane Sessegnon and Youssouf Mulumbu scored second-half goals to secure Pepe Mel's first win as West Brom boss.

Foster told BBC Sport: "It was a really big win for us. Swansea were brilliant in the first half and all over us but we showed a lot of character to come back from that.

"At half time the manager told us exactly what we needed to do. We had to get among them, get higher up the pitch and put them under pressure and we did exactly that."

West Brom are now 16th in the Premier League, three points clear of the relegation zone.
