Tony Pulis backs Jeremy Peace to find right buyer for West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis insists that chairman Jeremy Peace will only sell the club to the right buyer.

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has backed chairman Jeremy Peace to sell the Premier League outfit to a buyer who intends to invest in the club.

Four groups are believed to be interested in the Baggies, and Peace is said to be keen to get a deal worth between £150m and £200m completed by the summer.

However, Pulis has insisted that the current owner wants his successor to be committed to the cause.

"I don't think Jeremy wants anybody coming in who are not going to invest in the club - he's made that clear to me," Pulis told reporters. "That's the main point he's made to me.

"The fact he's put it up for sale and everybody knows now if someone comes in and he does a deal I would imagine there will be bolt-ons to invest in the club. I don't think he wants to see his legacy blown away."

Peace became chairman of West Brom back in 2002.
