West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie targets a top ten finish for his team this season.

Peter Odemwingie has set his West Bromwich Albion teammates the target of finishing in the top ten of the Premier League this season.

The Nigerian striker was speaking after his hat-trick helped the Baggies on their way to a 5-1 win at rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.

"It was a very big result for us, a great team performance, and we know this game means a lot to our fans," he told Sky Sports News.

"The most important thing is to keep proving to our fans that although we have ups and downs we are a team that can respond to difficult situations.

"We need to improve our home performances and then we can finish in the top ten."

West Brom are currently 14th in the table.
