Chris Brunt has praised Saido Berahino's work ethic during training with West Bromwich Albion this season.
The striker scored twice in the club's opening game of the Premier League season, which finished in a 2-2 draw with Sunderland.
The Baggies captain told the Sutton Coldfield Observer: "He's got his head down in training and he's getting his rewards for it now.
"He scored the goal last season against West Ham to keep us up and he's started this season well. He's worked hard in pre-season and he got his goals on Saturday, he was a threat."
Berahino scored nine goals in 35 appearances for West Brom last season.
