Half-Time Report: Gary Hooper gives Norwich City lead against West Bromwich Albion

A goal from Gary Hooper has given Norwich City the lead over West Bromwich Albion in their Premier League match this afternoon.

Hooper put Norwich into the lead when he was slipped through on goal by Leroy Fer and fired a low effort into the bottom corner.

Youssouf Mulumbu threatened for the home side, as he exchanged passes with Morgan Amalfitano and hit a powerful strike that John Ruddy had to tip over.

The visitors came close to a second when Nathan Redmond saw his free kick pushed wide by the keeper.

Victor Anichebe was next to test Ruddy when he saw his powerful drive tipped over the bar, as Norwich held onto their lead.
