Team News: Gary Hooper starts for Norwich City

Gary Hooper makes his first start for Norwich City as they take on Watford in the League Cup at Vicarage Road this evening.

The striker, who has been able to start a game for the Canaries so far since his move from Scottish champions Celtic, leads the visitors' attack but Dutchman Ricky van Wolfswinkel is out with a toe injury.

Defender Sebastian Bassong is also sidelined with a hamstring.

Watford give a first start to Josh McEachran since he joined the club on loan from Chelsea.

However, midfielder Almen Abdi is still sidelined because of a foot injury that has kept him out since August.
