Nyron Nosworthy facing spell on the sidelines

Watford could be without the services of Nyron Nosworthy for a lengthy period because of an Achilles injury.

The centre-back sustained the problem while on international duty with Jamaica on Friday.

He has since returned to London and underwent an operation on the complaint yesterday afternoon.

However, numerous reports have suggested that the 32-year-old will now miss Watford's remaining eight matches of the season.

Nosworthy has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Hornets so far this campaign.
