Watford's Troy Deeney wins Championship Player of the Month for March

Watford striker Troy Deeney has been rewarded for his recent efforts by winning the Championship Player of the Month gong.

In March, the 26-year-old scored five goals across five games, two of which came in a 2-0 triumph over struggling side Wigan Athletic.

Deeney, who joined the Hornets back in 2010, has been a major part of Watford's push for promotion as they currently reside third in the table, just one point behind leaders Bournemouth.

This Saturday, Watford will travel to The Den to take on Millwall, who are seven points adrift of safety.
