Half-Time Report: Watford 2-0 up against Millwall at half time

Goals from Troy Deeney and Fernando Forestieri give Watford a 2-0 half-time lead over Millwall in the Championship.

Watford are leading Millwall 2-0 at half time as the sides meet as part of today's Championship fixtures.

Millwall were dealt a blow early on in the game as Danny Shittu was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge, which allowed Troy Deeney to step up and fire Watford ahead in the 10th minute.

Jermaine Easter tried to hit back for the visitors when he was played in by Justin Hoyte, but his effort was blocked by a defender.

Deeney was in again for the hosts minutes later thanks to Fernando Forestieri, but his effort was saved in the centre of the goal.

It did not matter, however, as Forestieri was on hand to add Watford's second of the half when he tucked home into the bottom right-hand corner.
