Joe Ledley has admitted that he is excited by the prospect of making his 50th appearance for Wales.
The Celtic midfielder will reach the milestone if he plays in the friendly against Finland on Saturday at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Ledley, who made his international debut against Poland at the same venue in 2005, has said that it would be a "great honour" if he were selected to play.
"I am absolutely delighted and buzzing for Saturday," Ledley told Sky Sports News.
"It's a great honour for me and my family so I am looking forward to it and hopefully getting on the pitch for it. It's special for it to be at Cardiff City Stadium, where I came through the ranks and learnt all my football.
"When I was a kid I just wanted to play football and go out there and show the world I could do it. A lot of people do not make it to play for their country and it's a fantastic honour, and I try to do it as well as I can."
Ledley began his career with Cardiff City before joining Celtic in 2010.
