Gareth Bale is disappointed that Wales do not have more international matches coming up.

Wales winger Gareth Bale has revealed that he is disappointed by the lack of upcoming international fixtures.

Gary Speed's side continued their positive run of recent form with a 4-1 win over Norway this afternoon and Bale would have liked the opportunity to have enhanced their winning mentality sooner.

"We have got a great team spirit building, it's good to get a winning mentality under our belt," the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder told Sky Sports News.

"We want to keep improving and we know there is still a long way to go but we've got a long lay-off for internationals now, which is a bit disappointing, but I think when we all get back together we'll be as strong as ever."

Bale opened the scoring during today's victory.
