Villarreal have been stung with the news that Giovani dos Santos will be out of action for the next month after picking up a hamstring injury on international duty.
The Mexican picked up the strain during the friendly against Chile at the weekend and was immediately sent to Spain for a scan.
According to Inside Spanish Football, the results revealed damage to the 25-year-old's hamstring, which will keep him on the sidelines for four weeks.
Giovani could miss as many as five games for the Yellow Submarine.
