Report: Valencia in talks with Mathieu Valbuena

Valencia are reportedly in talks with French international Mathieu Valbuena, who looks certain to leave Marseille this summer.

Los Che have money to spend in the transfer window following Peter Lim's takeover, which was completed at the end of the season.

According to Marca, Valbuena wants to leave France this summer, with Valencia the first club to make official contact.

That said, a number of European outfits are believed to be monitoring proceedings.

The 26-year-old, who is currently with the France squad ahead of the World Cup, has been with Marseille since 2006.
