Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Ukraine could line up for Monday's European Championship clash with Austria.

Ukraine will remain without Oleksandr Zubkov against Austria on Monday after the winger suffered a muscle strain in his side's opening Euro 2020 fixture against Netherlands.

The 24-year-old, who plays for Hungarian side Ferencvaros, will hope to be involved for the knockout stages should Andriy Shevchenko's side reach the last-16.

The Blue and Yellow's will be guaranteed progression in second place should they avoid defeat against the Austrians, so Shevchenko is likely to set his side up in a more cautious manner than in their first two matches.

Indeed, after playing some slick football in the first half of the 2-1 win against North Macedonia on Thursday, with forwards Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk each getting themselves on the scoresheet for the second time at Euro 2020, Ukraine were hanging on a little bit towards the end of the victory against the minnows.

However, the midfield looked a more balanced unit with Mykola Shaparenko and Taras Stepanenko restored to the starting XI in place of Zubkov and Sergiy Sydorchuk.

As such, Shevchenko is unlikely to make any changes in terms of personnel, merely in terms of mindset with his side certainly not needing to take any unnecessary risks.
