Udinese sack manager Massimo Oddo after 11 straight losses

Massimo Oddo is sacked as manager of Udinese after losing 11 league games in a row.

Udinese have sacked manager Massimo Oddo following a dismal run of form that has left the club in relegation trouble.

The Italian coach was relieved of his duties off the back of 11 straight defeats, the latest of which was a 2-1 reverse against Crotone.

Oddo, who took over from Luigi Delneri in November, leaves the club in 15th place in Serie A, four points above the dropzone.

Udinese are yet to name a new manager but former Juventus defender Igor Tudor is the favourite to take over until the end of the season, reports the Daily Mail.

Oddo won his first five games at the Udinese helm, including a 3-1 victory over Inter Milan, before the poor form set in.
