Hugo Almeida reveals Premier League dream

Besiktas striker Hugo Almeida has revealed that he would love to play in the Premier League.

The Portguese international, who moved to Turkey after being released by Werder Bremen in 2010, said that he will honour his contract but has not ruled out a switch to England. "It is no secret and I've said several times, I would like to play in England or Spain sometime," Almeida told Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

"I have a contract with Besiktas and I will gladly comply because I have been treated very well, but in the world of football things change overnight and if there is something interesting we will consider it." Almeida, who was part of Portugal's Euro 2012 sqaud, has won 44 caps for his country.
