Pablo Aimar ready for Premier League

Benfica midfielder Pablo Aimar is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League when his contract expires.

Benfica midfielder Pablo Aimar is keen on signing for a Premier League club at the end of the season, according to The People.

The 32-year-old, who scored for the Portuguese club during their 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last Tuesday, will be out of contract in the summer.

As a result he will able to discuss personal terms with potential suitors during the January transfer window.

However, one thing that could scupper a deal is the Argentinian's wage demands as he currently earns a reported £3m-a-year with Benfica.
