Striker Anthony Stokes has opted to link up with Iranian club Tractor Sazi.
The Red Wolves - managed by former Wales and Real Madrid coach John Toshack - announced on Wednesday that they had agreed to sign ex-Rangers man Harry Forrester.
Just 24 hours on from that transfer, Tractor Sazi have pushed through the signing of former Celtic and Hibernian attacker Stokes.
The 29-year-old has played the majority of his football in Scotland, but the Irishman has just spent the first half of 2018 with Greek side Apollon Smyrni.
Tractor Sazi finished last season down in 10th place in the top-flight standings.
