Bordeaux strike late against Toulouse to seal Garonne derby draw

A late equaliser from substitute Enzo Crivelli gives Bordeaux a point against Toulouse in the Garonne derby, as Willy Sagnol's side move up to 11th in Ligue 1.

Bordeaux made a numerical advantage count as a late Enzo Crivelli equaliser gave Willy Sagnol's side a draw in the Garonne derby, following Oscar Trejo's dismissal.

Adrien Regattin put visitors Toulouse a goal up in the first half, latching onto a Somalia pass before firing past Cedric Carrasso in the Bordeaux goal.

Bordeaux edged the possession statistics in the first half but were unable to find a way past the Toulouse defence, finding the target just once in five attempts.

The Girondins continued to pressure their opponents in the second half, firing a further five attempts at goal in the opening 20 minutes of the second period but again only finding the target once.

Uruguayan striker Diego Rolan came closest for Sagnol's side, hitting the post with an effort from Milan Gajic's cross.

Toulouse were reduced to ten men after 77 minutes as Oscar Trejo saw red following a poor challenge on Clement Chantome.

Bordeaux capitalised on their numerical advantage in the 90th minute as substitute Enzo Crivelli popped up with an equaliser for the home side.

The result leaves Toulouse in 16th position in Ligue 1 while Bordeaux move up to 11th.
