Robert Earnshaw double earns Toronto win

Two goals from Robert Earnshaw have earned Toronto a 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City at the Rogers Centre in the MLS Eastern Conference.

The former Cardiff City striker opened the scoring with three minutes on the clock when he struck home from inside the area.

He doubled his side's lead midway through the first half from the penalty spot following Paulo Nagamura's foul on John Bostock.

Claudio Bieler found the bottom corner for Kansas with 13 minutes left to play, but they were unable to snatch an equaliser.
