Group E leaders Switzerland earn a late 1-0 win over Cyprus in their World Cup qualifier in Geneva.

A late goal has given Switzerland a 1-0 win over Cyprus in their World Cup qualifier in Geneva.

The game looked to be heading for a draw before Haris Seferovic found the net in the first minute of injury time.

The result has seen the Swiss extend their lead over Albania at the top of Group E to four points.

Meanwhile, Cyprus remain at the bottom of the standings at the halfway stage of qualification.
