Michael Pont hails 'flawless' France

Switzerland assistant coach Michael Pont says that France are a flawless team ahead of Friday's clash with Les Bleus.

Switzerland assistant coach Michael Pont believes that France have no weaknesses ahead of facing Les Bleus in the World Cup on Friday.

Didier Deschamps's side lead the way in Group E after cruising to a 3-0 win over Honduras on Sunday, and Pont admits that he has struggled to identify a blind spot in their team ahead of the clash at the Arena Fonte Nova.

"It is extremely difficult to find weaknesses in the France team, it's the first time in 13 years that I've struggled to find them," he told a press conference.

"It is very well organised, compact defence, who make individual sacrifices which is down to the will of the players.

"We have to find weaknesses by jumping on every opportunity. If we try and pack all 10 players behind the ball, it won't work, we have to challenge them."

Friday's encounter kicks off at 8pm.
