Swindon Town's Mark Cooper nominated for League One manager award

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper leads the list of candidates for November's Manager of the Month award in League One.

The promotion-chasing Robins won four out of five games last month, including a victory that ended Bristol City's unbeaten start to the season.

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson joins Cooper on the shortlist as four wins out of four helped the Dons maintain their playoff hopes.

Scunthorpe United's Mark Robins is also among the nominees thanks to a haul of seven points from a possible nine for the strugglers.

Dean Smith of Walsall completes the list of potential winners, with the Midlands side earning two wins and two draws to edge them towards the top half of the standings.

The winner is due to be announced on Friday.
