Half-Time Report: Swindon Town frustrated by Colchester United

Colchester United have held Swindon Town to a goalless half-time draw at the County Ground in League One tonight.

The Robins raced out of the traps and spurned a number of good opportunities in the early stages of the contest.

Goalkeeper Sam Walker tipped Alex Pritchard's fizzing long-range effort narrowly past the post, before Michael Ngoo and Dany N'Guessan both wasted chances to open the scoring.

However, Mark Cooper's men failed to build on their early promise in front of goal and United held out to earn a draw at the interval.
