Michael Laudrup "preparing" for life without Joe Allen

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has admitted that he is "preparing" for the potential departure of midfielder Joe Allen.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.

"You always have to be one step ahead so we have to be preparing for everything," said Laudrup. "It's not only in this case, but each position in the team.

"You have to think about the present as well as the future, which will be the winter window."

Laudrup welcomed former Rayo Vallecano midfielder Michu to the Liberty Stadium yesterday.
