Swansea City complete the signing of striker Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem for £12m.

Swansea City have completed the signing of striker Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem for a club record fee.

The Swans have spent £12m on the Ivory Coast international, who has signed a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.

The transfer had been expected to be concluded on Wednesday after the 24-year-old had posed with the club's shirt on Tuesday.

Bony arrives in England having scored 37 goals in 36 appearances for Vitesse last season, while he has netted eight times in 20 games for his country.
