Swansea City have recalled Oliver McBurnie from his loan stint with Newport County.
The 19-year-old joined the League Two outfit last month and he had been due to remain at Rodney Parade until January.
However, according to Newport's official website, the striker has returned to the Swans early so that he can be included in the squad for the Boxing Day clash against West Bromwich Albion.
McBurnie had three outings for Newport, for whom he scored a hat-trick on his debut against Luton Town.
The frontman is yet to make a senior appearance for Swansea, having joined the Premier League side from Bradford City in the summer.
