Laudrup appointed Swansea boss?

Swansea City have reportedly completed the appointment of new manager Michael Laudrup.

The 48-year-old has been expected to put pen to paper on a contract at the Liberty Stadium following positive talks with the Welsh club this week.

While the Premier League outfit are yet to announce Laudrup's arrival, it is understood that the former Denmark international has agreed to take over from former boss Brendan Rodgers, according to Sky Sports News.

Laudrup is believed to have beaten out Blackpool manager Ian Holloway, who was also thought to be a strong contender for the managerial position.

The Danish coach, who had an illustrious career as a player for the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Ajax, is likely to be welcomed by the Swansea fans due to Laudrup's eagerness to implement flowing football.
