Swansea City boss Garry Monk: 'We need to be at our best against Arsenal'

Swansea City manager Garry Monk says that his team need to be at their very best in order to upset Arsenal this weekend.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has urged his players to be at their best level when they take on Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday.

The Welsh outfit welcome an Arsenal team who have won their last four Premier League games on the bounce, while the Swans have grabbed just one victory in six matches.

Last season, Swansea claimed the double over Arsene Wenger's men, but Monk expects a difficult task when the two teams go head to head this weekend.

"They have had a fantastic start to the season," the club's official website quotes Monk as saying. "They have an excellent squad full of world-class talent and they are definite title contenders. We've had some good games against them in recent years and had two good results against them last season.

"We know that when we are at our best we can give anyone a game in this league and we'll need to be at that level on Saturday. If we do that we are in with a chance of getting the result we want."

Swansea are currently 12th in the table, while Arsenal are second on the same points as leaders Manchester City.
