Report: Sunderland launch offer for Jeremain Lens

Sunderland have tabled an £8m offer for Dynamo Kiev forward Jeremain Lens, according to reports.

The 27-year-old scored five times in 16 appearances last season, and has worked with Black Cats manager Dick Advocaat at PSV Eindhoven.

The Daily Mail claims that the North-East side want to make radical changes to their squad this summer, with Lens at the centre of a revamped forward line.

Lens has won two Ukrainian cups and one league title since he signed for Kiev in 2013.
