Sunderland open talks with Tottenham Hotspur's Tom Huddlestone?

Sunderland have reportedly begun talks with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone over a possible move to the North-East outfit.

Spurs are believed to be willing to sell the 26-year-old, who is said to feel unsettled at White Hart Lane due to the lack of first-team football available.

It is understood that while Hull City are also thought to be interested in Huddlestone, Sunderland are confident that they can land the midfielder following talks, according to the Shields Gazette.

Huddlestone's current contract at Tottenham expires in 2015.
