Gus Poyet: "It's difficult to analyse" Kidderminster Harriers win

Gus Poyet claims that it "is difficult to analyse" his Sunderland side's win against Kindderminster Harriers in the FA Cup.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has admitted that it is "difficult to analyse" his side's 1-0 win against Kidderminster Harriers.

The Black Cats booked their place in the next round of the FA Cup after they edged out the non-league side thanks to a fifth-minute goal from Charis Mavrias.

The club's official website quotes Poyet as saying: "It was tough because that last ball is the one that you need to manage with quality, but I would say it's difficult to analyse this game.

"We need to just concentrate on Oscar Ustari, Santiago Vergini at the back and a few players that haven't been playing like Diakite or Valentin Roberge or Charis Mavrias – they got 90 minutes which is great for them.

"That was most important, and of course being in the draw tomorrow."

The result marked the end of a successful week of cup action for Poyet's side following their League Cup semi-final win against Manchester United on Wednesday.
