Stuttgart's sporting director Fredi Bobic hints that Shinji Okazaki could depart the Bundesliga outfit this summer.

Stuttgart's sporting director Fredi Bobic has suggested that Shinji Okazaki could depart the Bundesliga outfit this summer.

The 27-year-old, who joined the club in January 2011, scored just one goal in 25 appearances for the German side last season.

However, the Japan international has reportedly drawn interest from a number of clubs with his exploits at the Confederations Cup this summer.

"He did well in his first year-and-a-half with us and was also good last season, although his goal ratio could improve," Bobic told Bild.

"There is a chance that we could see movement in the transfer market."

A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be monitoring developments.
