Stromsgodset have decided to give eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt the chance to impress at the Norwegian club.
Last month, the retired Jamaican sprinter spent time training with German giants Borussia Dortmund as the 31-year-old looks to secure a deal with a club.
Stromsgodset director of football Jostein Flo has suggested that signing Bolt is a possibility providing that he makes an impact during his time in Scandinavia.
Flo is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "He is a good football player, otherwise he would not have been training with us.
"We told them a player was coming to try out and that he was damn fast - the door opened, and Bolt came in. It was a shock for them, they couldn't believe it.
"He is one of the greatest athletes throughout all ages, and of course we can learn a lot from him. His presence will undoubtedly be a great inspiration for players, coaches, and the whole club."
