Stoke City seal loan deal for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi

Stoke City sign Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi on a season-long loan deal.

Stoke City have announced that Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi has signed for the club on a season-long loan deal.

Martins Indi made 30 appearances for the Portuguese giants during the last campaign but he has been given permission to spend the next nine months at the Britannia Stadium.

The Potters have the option of making the deal for the Netherlands international permanent at the end of the season.

The signing of the 24-year-old follows the transfer of Wilfried Bony, who also penned a season-long loan contract from Manchester City earlier on Wednesday.
