Stoke City 'in talks with PSV Eindhoven's Erik Pieters'

Stoke City have reportedly opened talks with PSV Eindhoven left-back Erik Pieters over a proposed move to the Premier League outfit.

The Potters have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old following their failure to sign him in January due to injury.

Following the setback, Stoke have reignited their interest, scheduling a medical this week with the hope of finalising a deal, according to Sky Sports News.

Pieters will head to the Britannia Stadium with 17 appearances for the Netherlands under his belt.
