Stoke City confirm talks with USA striker Juan Agudelo

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has revealed that the club are in talks with New England Revolution over signing striker Juan Agudelo.

The former Queens Park Rangers boss is hopeful that the USA international, who only joined Revolution in May this year, will make the move to the Britannia.

"We're hopeful of progressing that. It seems there's a willingness from both sides," Hughes told BBC Radio Stoke.

Agudelo has netted twice in 17 appearances for his national team.
